How to run a macro based on value in combobox and on the click of a cell

Hi,

I have created a combobox with 3 items (weekly, Bi-weekly,monthly). Is it possible that if i select "weekly" in combobox and click on cell "C2" then it should run "macro1".
Likewise if i select "Bi-weekly" and then click on cell "D3" so as to run specific macro.
I've just learned how to run macro on cell click. But this is something different.
Can you please provide some help on this.

I assume you use an ActiveX ComboBox1 in Sheet(1)
