Copying sheets from a closed workbook - Excel 2013 crashes Sheets.Add

In Excel 2010 I used this code to import sheets from a closed workbook in the same folder as my master workbook:

In Excel 2013 this command seems to crash the Excel Application. Is there another way to import sheets from a closed excel file into a master excel file? Or is there a way to prevent Excel 2013 from crashing?

Re: Copying sheets from a closed workbook - Excel 2013 crashes Sheets.Add

First off, Excel 2013 is extremely volatile for me especially with anything VBA related... but I have even had it crash just copying and pasting raw data to raw data with NO VBA in anything open.

It is a TERRIBLE solution, but one of the only ones I have found to remedy the problem, why not use 2010?

Also check for Windows Updates, I have a 64bit machine and my company was not releasing the 64bit updates, so I had ton of them, which helped reliability some.

All in, 2013 has some serious issues IMO but I have built forecasting tools with powerpivot in 2013 that is NOT backwards compatible and 2010 wont allow for as much storage or something.

Good Luck, this is very frustrating.
