    Windows.Activate (bringing in worksheets)

So I have this old file from a previous person, and am trying to read how it operates:

Basically there are several tabs one for the pages with desired links to bring them into the other tabs Monthly. The page with the links changed severly( before they were http links and now they are folder.xls links.

As I look at it the only disconnect I can see is the windows.activate .xls ~3rd line from the bottom. What does that refer to?

The Windows(gp.xls).Activate was in there and I am not sure what it means.
The rest I can read which basically says look at hyperlink, clear contents, open copy paste into tab name "xx"

There is no .Activate on the end. If it was there it would mean activate that workbook.

In the original code there is an Windows(gp.xls).Activate there.

Perhaps instead of using the old code is there an easier way to updated report by a clicking command button. Where it clears old sheets and replaces them with sheets from updated links in box.

I do not know what links you refer to. This code only uses cell values to open text files by name. Also, code is incomplete.

I've updated the code to look like this and it works.

I understand when I select Workbook. OpenText file name it only brings the text and if I drop Text it will bring it in as is.
However I am having trouble bringing it in with same formatting. Some of the rows in source file are filled with different shades of blue which I would like to keep.
But when I updated sheet it brings the formatted rows in in all sorts of God awful colors like green brown and dark red.

Is there anyway to fix this so that it comes from the source with original formatting.

Again I apologise for being unclear, I am doing my best to explain.

And thank you again for the help.
