    Formula for filter button

    Hi Guys, need you help regarding this scenario weherein the dropdown list box will display the sales group ( from data sheet ) and will display all the details regarding it if i choose it. more like a filter function. provided a desired output for this scenario. vba noob here

    Hi Sir sixthsense

    i'd like to have VBA formula for dropdown list button to display the data field for the data sheet i provided eg. sample:
    acct#
    cust name
    group
    company industry

    then if i press the ok it will display the corresponding details of the choosen field for example: the group field ** kindly please see the attach image on excel on the UI page

    Why don't you use Pivot Table?

    yeah I already tried and presented that way but, our boss required that kind of output wherein he can will only choose the desired data field on the sheet and it will display the corresponding details with only clicking those buttons

    Still I consider Pivot is the best solution in your case.

    I am very sorry for the late reply,I just returned from my long vacation leave ~ looking back, thanks for this even though my boss wants a presentable one which is the VBA mode and i dunno why he wants it that way hahha even though i really prefer this suggestion of your :D...moving forward, ill to figure this out with VBA buttons thing cause its what my boss wants hehe..really appreciate the time and effort for this and your usual swift feedback :D more power to you sir
