How wary should I be of differences to VBA between excel versions?

So in THIS post, I've discovered that Excel 2013 and 2010 (the 2 versions I and the users of my sheets are likely to come across), are different enough that some code works in one, but not the other.

Now I suspect there is more at play here, like the differences betweeen various security settings and such, but it got me thinking...

When dealing with VBA specifically, is there any where that details any major (or minor) differences between versions? and how likely (when dealing with a one or two version difference am I to encounter issues?
