Hi all,
I'm currently working on a centralised control sheet. This one sheet needs to reference and real-time link to over 270 data sheets.
With the control sheet open, I open one of the standard data sheets I have.
I want to havest 17 rows of information from the recently opened sheet, cells A3:A19(to A column), L3:L19(to F column) O3:O19(to G column) Q3:Q19(to I column) BG3:BG19(to J column) BH3:BH19(to K column) BI3:BI19(to L column) BT3:BT19(to M column) T3:T19(to U column).
I want to put together a macro that will draw that information and slap it down on the control sheet in relation to my selected cell, i.e. if I select cell A1273, it'll drawn all the information in on the relative row.
I've been tinkering, but, I can't figure the generic term for a secondary opened workbook. The closest I've got is to detailing the actual book title.
I'll be the only person managing the control sheet, and it's held on the central archive system at work (Livelink) along with the data sheets. Anyone who knows Livelink will know it hates macro-enabled files. It'll all have to sit on my personal VBA profile.
I hope this is enough, failing that, feel free to request.
Regards,
Niall.
