    activecell.formula with vba defined range

I cant figure out what I'm doing wrong with this formula.

I am trying to insert a SUM formula for the hours1 range I have defined. Can anyone see what I'm doing wrong?

I see you have defined the cell range for hours1 .. but not for hours.

    Richard,

    That worked, thanks!

Steve - thanks for the reply. The hours range is defined in the worksheet.
