I have three separate workbooks "Audits One," "Audits Two" and "Audits Three" and I am trying to compile the data that exists within those three workbooks into one master workbook "Compiled Audits." The three Audit workbooks are formatted exactly the same except that they have a different number of "active" columns in them because the "Auditors" don't have the same number of Audits.
I tried doing the whole click in the cell of the "Compiled Audits" Workbook <="click in desired cell of audit workbook"> but there are probably thousands of cells and I would rather not go to my grave pressing equal, click, click, enter.
I have tried dragging the cells but they don't update the link.
Is there a macro or quick way to make this happen?
I would like the "Compiled Audits" to update whenever the "audit" files are updated without all of them having to be opened.
I have attached an example Compiled Audits workbook and an Audit workbook (there will be three but I figured one is enough for an example).
