    VBA created Ranges that i can update

    ok like the title says i want to dynamicaly create ranges
    here is what i need

    one column has a "genus" name, next has the "species Name" and the 3rd colum will have Associated Common Nmes...

    if anuyone knows any scienc you relise ther are many species per genus...


    attached is the current list that i ahve for data..i would like to be able to update this data as new info becomes available

    Do you mean new record entries, or adding the common name to an existing record... or both

    ok what i want is to be able to set named ranges so that i can choes from a dropdown menu

    one dropdown will ahve the genus. and depending on what i chose a
    the species choices will change

    You are welcome, just a note in order to achieve so you have to build the list of unique genus (as it is in LIST). please mark it as solved
