How do i replicate Form Control Buttons in a spreadsheet?

    Hi All,

In the attached spreadsheet i have created 5 buttons, which when you click puts an "x" on top of the button.

For example when you click cell C4 it puts an "X" in C3.

Now i tried to copy paste my buttons down the sheet however now when I click the buttong in cell C10 instead of putting an "X" in C9 it is still putting it in C3.

Is there a way where i can replicate without having to create every button manually.

The macro i needed was when you click a button, clear any data in the coloured cells then put an "X" ontop of the button you clicked.

    Your help is much appreciated!

If you're not wedded to that design, which will be perpetually difficult to maintain, search the forum for Marlett checkboxes

You could assign this macro to the groups of 5 buttons.

Something similar can be created for all the 'CLR' buttons.

Thanks Leith that worked a treat!

Have no idea what all that means but it worked... I think its time i go do a VBA/Macro course.
