ActiveX Radio buttons won't uncollapse after saving worksheet.

Hey guys,

I have a couple of activex radio buttons on my worksheet which I've set to hide when I hide the rows, and uncollapse when rows are unhidden. It works great, until I save and close. Upon opening up the worksheet all of the buttons are completely collapsed at the top of the worksheet, regardless of what rows are showing.

1. At the bottom right of the Reply window, Click the button Go Advanced
2. At the top of the Your Message Window, in the first row of icons, Click the Paperclip icon.
3. Click the Add Files button at the top right in the dialog box. This displays the File Manager dialog.
4. Click the Select Files button at the bottom middle of the dialog.
5. In the new window Find the file you want to upload, select it, and Click Open.
6. You will now be back in the File Manager dialog. Click the bottom Middle button Upload File.
7. Wait until the file has completely uploaded before you exit the File Manager dialog.

Hey Leith,
Unfortunately I can't. It's an accounting spreadsheet for my business that has output macros to JD Edwards. Is there any way to troubleshoot it regardless?

Essentially I have activeX radio buttons, which I have set to "move and size with cells". It all works great while I have the spreadsheet open. However, if I hide all my rows, then close and save the worksheet, upon reopening it and unhiding the rows all of my radio buttons remain with height of "0" at the very top of the spreadsheet.

Hello mgolou,

You probably have checked the placement properties of these radio buttons and verified they are set to "Move but don't size" with cells.

I see you are using Office 2003, but which OS are you running Office on? There are some issues with later Windows versions: Vista and 2007, where ActiveX controls don't behave properly.

That is a little outdated. I'm using Office 2010 on Windows 7. And I have selected move and size with cells.

Since Windows 7 fixed the bug that was in 2007 and the settings are correct, I can only assume there is something else in the code causing the problem.

Forgot to add sheet 2 is the French and 3 is the English versions.

Essentially I'm trying to fill a Letter and a Letter (French) worksheets with the appropriate fields chosen by the button. Doesn't seem to be any code in there that will cause the button to collapse upon closing/saving and not uncollapse. I can always find a workaround if you're not sure what could be causing this.
