Macro to add new column which will be the result from two exisisting columns.??
Hi,
With a plethora of free online translating services now available on the internet, I feel sure that you can make more of an effort in describing your requirements.

Where do you want this new column to be inserted? What do you mean by "result from two existing columns"?
Regards
I need a macro which will firstly search column with column headers name then apply some operation on those two columns and give the result on the last blank column.
suppose i have one column with header "store no" and some other column with header as "Store Name" i want 3rd column at the end which will be the concatenation of both columns. How can i get this result through macro. ?
I think you need to attach a workbook with your desired results clearly outlined.

Hi.
it is not your language that I think @XOR LX was talking about.
If you need assistance to resolve a problem you are facing then please take the time to read the forum rules and suggestions.
Always explain what you are trying to do, attach a sample spreadsheet (with no confidential information please) with your input data AND what you expect the output to be for each input data row
Then you will increase you chances of getting help by about 1000% percent. The contributors on this forum are all volunteers and if the problem isn't easily understood we are likely to just pass the request by, sorry but we only have a limited amount of time to help others as we all have "other jobs"

In the Attached workbook you can see the column with red color is the combination of A and B column . i have applied formula on that column manually. So,i need to populate this computed column through macro.
Thanks. Based on that workbook:
(Note: enter the letter of each column in the input boxes, not the header name.)

hello @ tanvi_kalra
It is now nearly a month since @ XOR LX supplied you with a possible solution.
It is good "form" to mark a thread as solved if indeed it has been resolved (see thread tools in the top right of your first post) and even better "form" to click on the "*Add Reputation" button on any post from any person who helped you resolve your problem
