How to hide shapes along with the hidden columns.

I have a shape (red line) as in pic 1 (attached file) as you can see the line extends until "CC" columns. However when I hide some of the columns where some parts of the (red line) is included the redline moves (as in pic 2). I want the parts which is included on the hidden column to be hidden as well( as in pic 3). How do I do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance

Nevermind...Found the solution... The shapes should be ungrouped before proceeding with the hiding of columns.
