    problem with HLOOKUP

    HI All

My problem is as follow: I am using HLOOKUP to interpolate for a specific values from two table in my sheet, the problem is the tables are not with the same size. So I would like to be able to deal with these table using the HLOOKUP function.

    I have attached my workbook.

    Thanks in advance.

Where is the formula supposed to go, exactly? And what is the logic it needs to follow? Can you clarify?
Where there is a will there are many ways.

    Re: problem with HLOOKUP

    Hi NBVC

    Thanks for your reply.

I'm using interpolation method (searching for values that lie between two values), so I interpolate for the values in cells (C3:M3), in cells (C98:M98) and table (C104:O184). The problem is that, some times table (C104:O184) is less by one, i.e (C104:N184). I used the normal if statement, but I was wondering if I can use macro for this task.

    Thanks in advance.
