    copy random data in a row and place to its corresponding coloumn

    I need a help..I will explain my requirement.
    My excel has 20, 000 row data. .I am going to select randomly some data..say in have selected 1, 4, 6, 9, 12 data..I mean n number data ll be selected. .I have to move it to the consequitive column ..how to do it. .plz advice

    Not exactly sure what you are trying to do. Seems like a shuffle may be useful. It would randomize the order of your data, then you can pull off the first n values (which would be equivalent to randomly selecting n values from your data). This discussion may help:

    You could modify the code to stop shuffling after n values.
