    Power Query Ranking

    I've been watching a lot of video's on ranking but the ones I've seen always had the results for tied places on separate rows and also
    seemed rather long and over complicated, so I came up with crating a list of 'product' so that when the values were
    extracted the tied places all ended up on the same row. As I haven't seen this being done ( doesn't mean it hasn't)

    I thought it might be of interest, if not feel free to take down. I've attached an example . (query name 'one row')

    Thanks for this - I've used this process a lot in the past.

    You might want to change the concatenation code to this:

    Lists look better when the comma is immediately after an item rather than preceeded by a space.

    Re: Power Query Ranking

    Hi,
    On a second play around, finally got what I wanted which was this;

    Please Login or Register to view this content.

    Which is a lot neater and and you can get rid of duplicate by nesting list.distinct. I don't know what I kept doing wrong yesterday, but that's why I ended up using the 'extract' option.
