Add fields from multiple tabs to a pivot table (no unique columns)

    Hi,

I have two tabs; one with Department and Folders, and one with Folders, and Reports.

I would like to create a pivot table comprised of summaries by Department, Folders, and Reports.

The common field, Folders, is not unique so I'm struggling to create a datamodel linked on this field.

    How would you approach this?

    Thank you
    Faust

Currently you data does not make sense, to me at least.

    FolderB has two meanings,
    FolderB Legal
    FolderB IT

How do you know which meaning to use for any given record with FolderB in? So for the 3 records below are they IT or Legal departments?

    FolderB Report1 FolderB//Report1
    FolderB Report2 FolderB//Report2
    FolderB Report3 FolderB//Report3
    Cheers

That is how the data is.

Multiple departments can use one folder.
Multiple folders can be used by one department.
