    Admins

i am having lots of trouble with this board. 45 seconds plus to access a page. this section shows no posts even tho several are indicated in main menu.
this is not my pc/isp(sky/easynet). i have tried from work same thing(I work for BT and they have a massive connection to internet) and from my mates pc who uses another isp(virgin).I am in the U.K.
Any one else having same problems?

It is indeed painfully slow, Martin. Something needs rebooting, more memorory, or more disk space.

I'm using the OPERA browser on a home PC running Windows XP (+1 GB memory) and a 56k dial-up connection. The Forum pages usually load in 2-3 seconds (including downloading most of the zipped files).

    Guys,

Same thing here. It's so slow and some fonts in this forum appears to be bigger, its not my laptop because in other forum sites its appearing to be working ok.

    Slow Opening This Forum

I have enjoyed looking over the posts on your website for some time now since I learn just from reading other's questions and replies.
Just recently, it has started taking about 2 minutes for my computer to open this website, or move to another post on this site. However other websites seem to be opening ok. Is this an issue with my computer or your website?
    Thank you.

    Merry Christmas

ditto for me, I've almost read 1/2 a book while waiting for a few posts to load (up to 6 minutes at a time)!
See you in the New Year - hopefully Admin have any problems fixed by then.

    Hi all,

I've sent Joseph Rubin a e-mail about this problem. Hopefully he will take a look after Christmas.

    ExcelFormum Server Problems

Is it just me or has the server been difficult to access the last few days???
I get errors more than connections lately.

I'am still having problems with this forum, yesterday i can't access it and always it prompts me with "Server Busy, Please try again, "Network error", "Program Error occured" etc... Is the site under construction? Hope they fix it soon.

January 7th and it's still pot-luck whenever I click on a forum, thread or reply button as to whether I'll get an error or not. Any word on a fix? Thanks and Happy New Year.
