Gnatt chart assistance/ time line graph

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening

I am new to this site and have turned to look for some assitance on a work project.

I work in an emergency call centre. I am looking for a way to produce a daily 24hr sheet that shows in gnatt format the duty times of relevant call takers over a 24hr period split into 30 min blocks throughout the day. This so we have an easy visual tool to see how many call takers we have at any given time and to assist breaks and time out allocations. It needs to be on a one page layout.

I have had varying success but struggle to deal with the after midnight periods where the chart throws out the graph after midnight until 07;00 am. CAn anybody assist in how to get an automated line chart from entering shift times. Also if its possible to add in additonal perioda to allow for breaks.

Sounds a big ask. So a big up front thank you if anyone can assist or point me in direction of suitable tutorial.

It would help if you attached a sample Excel workbook.

To do this, click on Go Advanced (below the Edit Window) while you are composing a reply, then scroll down to and click on Manage Attachments and the Upload window will open. Click on Browse and navigate to (and double-click) the file icon that you want to attach, then click on Upload and then on Close this Window to return to the Edit window. When you have finished composing your post, click on Submit Post. Do not try to use the Paperclip icon (Attachments button), as it does not work on this forum.

i HAVE ATTACHED THE WORK TO DATE IN ITS BASIC STRUCTURE.I HAVE CONDITIONAL FORMATTED THE GRID TO REFLECT THE SHIFT START AND FINISHES. MY PROBLEM IS GETTING THE GRID TO POPULATE WITH THE SHIFTS THAT OVERUN THE MIDNIGHT PERIOD. I DID TREY TO CONVERT THE TIME BLOCKS TO NUMBER AND VLOOKED UP AGAINST THE TIME BUT THIS STILL DIDNT WORK BECAUSE OF THE DATE ISSUE. ANY SUGGESTIONS ???
