    Excel 2011. Is there a way to insert a comment for a range of cells?

    I have a range of cells.
    I want that, when the cursor hovers above any of them the comment will pop up (without having to insert it separately to each).
    Any help will be much appreciated.

    You want a comment to appear on hover even though there is no comment (or data validation input message) in the cell(s)?

    It is probably possible with API (because most anything is), not possible with VBA.

    So, since I had to google to find out what API is, I guess my choice is just copying and pasting the comment with Paste Special...

    So, that's it then.
    (I am learning Applescript, Keyboard Maestro and trying to deepen into Excel, so, there is "no room" for API for now)...
