help with charting

I have been ask to graph a consumers occurrence of incarceration each month and the number of days per occurrence. I need to show each month by individual days using phase lines to show medication change. I am new at this and have no idea how to start

this is the information for my graph incarcerated nov 7-11 and 17-25 December 4-5, 9-12, 15-24 Jan 1-4, 13-16, again on the 16 - 31st Feb 1-4, then again on the 5th-7th, 9-12, 21-29 March 1-2, 13-26
