Same color applied to a text box and a cell don't match

Hi all,

i have applied same color from the panel of excel colors to a text box and a cell, but they don't match each other. I've opened the 'More colors' to check the breakdown and they are identical. it's almost as if the text box is set to be 90% transparent, but, no, it is set at 100%.

Same file with no type [attached]. Colors are still different.

6SJ - how did you do that? When I expand the text box so it's adjacent to the cell, the colors are still different.

I took a screenshot and pasted into Paint, then shifted the position of the top color to be next to the bottom color.

Here I did the same thing you did above, took a screenshot, and pasted it as seen, no editing. It looks different then yours. I am guessing this is some subtle issue with how Excel on a Mac does things. I am on Windows 7, Office 2013.
