    Lookup Value?

Hello guys I got a question, I need help doing a lookup.

I am creating a wristband system for my travel softball teams. I need a way to autopopulate the wristband with plays based on their numbers

So if you look at the image I provide I show the wristband in top right the column 1,2,5,0 are lookup valued as are the top rows 1-1,1-2,1-5, etc... in the middle is numbers 1-36. I then randomly put them in columns with their play types, GREEN, RED, BLUE.....

Then on bottom of test wristband I have a blank wristband just with lookup values.
What I want is for it to lookup each number and return its specific COLOR.

Can anyone please help me... This is just a crude example....
A real life example I have is in google docs below
    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing

however here is the image for the test. As it is now I got to cut and paste the plays in all 36 cells I would prefer it to be automatic.

    Thanks

    Matt

    Re: Lookup Value?

Attached is a small example of how this might be accomplished using the array entered formula*:
    Formula: copy to clipboard
Please Login or Register to view this content.
*Array entered formulas are activated by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER to activate the array, not just ENTER. You will know the array is active when you see curly braces { } appear around your formula. If you do not CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER you will get an error or a clearly incorrect answer.
If you would like us to work with your full data set, please upload the spreadsheet from which the screen shot was taken by clicking on the GO ADVANCED below the Quick Reply window and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window. (the paperclip icon doesn't work)
