I have a google forms set up to feed answers into a spreadsheet. I named this spreadsheet "Form" and so I have another sheet in the same google spreadsheet named "Fill" which is taking information from "Form". Let's say I have a question asking for a name. So in the "Form" sheet the second column after the time stamp would be called Name and everything below that (I2,I3,I4,etc) would be all the names filled out in the google forms. Now, in my "Fill" sheet I have a separate column for names each of them pulling from the form sheet using this simple formula: =Form!I2
I have this for the entire column with the number changing to correspond which row I want to pull from in the Form sheet.
Now, here's my problem:
Every time I fill out the google forms, the name goes into the form sheet, but not the fill sheet that's pulling from it. This is because all the functions in the entire column have shifted up 1 number. So, the cell that was originally =Form!I2 has now become =Form!I3 and so on. This results in the name not being pulled from the Form sheet because I3 is empty. And when I add a new name again to fill I3, the functions in all of the column all shift up 1 again. This also happens for any function or formula I use on any sheet within that same spreadsheet, they all shift up by 1 every time a response is submitted
I'm feeding this information into a mapping website named kumu, but I think that might be irrelevant to this issue.
How can I fix this? Is there anything else I need to provide for you to help me?
