    Mac OS: Popup button appearing in center of right aligned merged cells

    Hi,

    I have two right aligned cells merged, due to the layout, cell profiles and long choices.
    This cell has a working validation formula.
    However the popup Knopf is and stays in the middle. This way the chosen text is overlaid by the Knopf

    I did try several way's to create that merged cell:
    First aligning, later aligning never aligning, only the left only the right cell, but all to no succes.
    Of course I can use one cell, but then the cell profile isn't right.

    Any suggestions to get the knopf at the right side?

    Knopf = button

    Will you please attach a sample Excel workbook?

    Unfortunately the attachment icon doesn't work at the moment, so to attach an Excel file you have to do the following: just before posting, scroll down to Go Advanced and then scroll down to Manage Attachments. Now follow the instructions at the top of that screen.

    Hi,
    Done, However, I did add a second issue inside the workbook, what I noticed since an Excel update a few versions ago.
    If needed I wil add a new topic.

    Re: Popup button in center of right aligned merged cells.

    Please start a new thread for the HLOOKUP issue, with an appropriate title, as it's completely different. The merged cell issue can be dealt with here. Thanks.

    Regarding the popup button: do you mean the drop-down button? If so, what is wrong with it?

    And why do the cells need to be merged? Just use D2 for the drop-down instead.

    Re: Popup button in center of right aligned merged cells.

    The cell needs to be merged so I can use a saved Cell profile.
    I can do it manual, but I got a compleet set, so why not using them.
    Remember is it on macos, I guess that it is on windows correctly, if so look at the screenshots at that page.

    Now I do it that way, just one cell and change the layout manually, but it is not logic.

    Thank you.

    The drop-down button is in the correct place here, not in the middle of the merged cell.

    Re: Popup button in center of right aligned merged cells.

    It must be since the macros are not enabled here.

    Amend your title (opening post) to mention macros, please, and I will move the thread.

    No it is not a macro issue.
    There is no macro in use, only macos

    Better to move it back

    macos = Excel for Apple

    Deleted because Mac issue cleared out (need to learn to press F5 before posting. )

    Avoid using Select, Selection and Activate in your code. Use With ... End With instead.

    Yes, and I have sorted it - the OP needs to be advised that Mac OS is two words, not one!

    If you want to argue the point, fine. It is macOS (note the capitalisation), NOT macos which is easily misread as macros.

    All I am trying to do is to help you to get the help you need. Your opening post, with its mix of English and Dutch (or German) was far from clear.
