    Vlookup for another sheet in google sheets

    Dear Members,
    i use Google Sheets for some files. however sheets does not let to use vlookup formula for another sheet reference. what else formula

    i have information in "A" sheet in D10:F30.
    in B sheet, i need to make C2 red if A2's SheetA reference's F colomn is greated than 3.

    If you want to conditionally format a cell, the formula to extract data from another sheet needs to actually be in a cell - say, cell B2:

    =vlookup(A2,A!$D$10:$F$31,3,false)

    Then you can use a formula in CF like

    =B2>3

    and that will work.

    thank you for your comments. i have fixed with below formula for cond form on A colomn on Sheet2:

    =VLOOKUP(A2,INDIRECT("Sheet1!A2:C"),3,0)
