    Vlookup #n/a error

    Hi,
    I am unable to use vlookup on BL page on yellow cells. They refer to other sheet. I need your help, thank you.

    I dont use google sheets, but it looks like you have not included a row number for the 2nd part of the range?
    =VLOOKUP($B$1,OPS!A2:AW,2,0)

    Also, why are you going all the way to AW when you want the value from the 2nd column?

    it looks like you have not included a row number for the 2nd part of the range? => i couldnt catch what you mean, would you pls clarify?
    why are you going all the way to AW when you want the value from the 2nd column? => because in original document, there are data ending in AW. i limited in this version to D column.

    The data is text in the lookup table, so you need:

    =VLOOKUP(""&$B$1,OPS!A:D,2,0)

    for example.

    Normally a range includes a starting cell ref (col & row) and an ending ref (col & row), or just col refs Col:Col). the 2nd part of your range looks like it is missing the ending row
    =VLOOKUP($B$1,OPS!A2:AW,2,0)
    maybe that should have been either...
    =VLOOKUP($B$1,OPS!A2:AW100,2,0)
    OR
    =VLOOKUP($B$1,OPS!A:AW,2,0)
