Assigning points to positions and automatically reordering positions based off points

Hello all. I took an excel class in high school but took a separate life course, however i started an online racing series where the points are as follows. 1=26, 2=23, 3=21, 4=19 and from 4th to 24th the points are decreased by one so 5th would be 18 and 6th would be 17 and so on. The problem Im having is I want to be able to enter the riders position in the round column (spreadsheet link isnt allowed to be posted but I can email it to anyone who will help) for each round they complete and points be assigned based off that position and then then, based off the points, automatically reorder the riders list based of points totals. I know this is alot to ask and if you can help that would be awesome! Ive fought it for a week now and im stumped. Thanks!

Sort by the Total column.
