Google Sheets IMPORTRANGE + 9 files (You can not add new rows weekly?)

I have a project managed by 9 different supervisors. Each one has there own excel file. I am using Google sheet IMPORTRANGE to import each file into one master file with tabs for each supervisor. There will be one master tab that will use IMPORTRANGE to collect data from the other tabs. The problem with this process for me is that the data will grow weekly for each supervisor 50 rows each week. Using the function IMPORTRANGE on my master breaks the minute new data is added from the supervisor tab. Has anyone come across this scenario? Is there a workaround? How would you approach this using google sheets.
