Excel Userform textbox doesn't populate in Mac

Hello. this is my first time posting so pls forgive me if I screw up with protocol...I have a client that uses excel for mac. The userform that I made for him works great with my windows machine but when he opens it on his mac the text boxes are black. See attached screen shot. If anyone has experience solving this issue please share. Thank you
