Excel hidden formulas showing in Google Shhets.

When dealing with various clients, I can hide formulas in an Office Excel sheet with "hidden + password" to prevent leaking sensitive discount data that varies depending on individual sales history.

However, when opening the same sheet in Google Sheets, the formulas are shown despite the original Excel protection.

Is there a way to protect Excel formulas from being viewed in Google Sheets?

As these sheets are used by multiple clients, macros need to be avoided.

No you can't. Anyone with even a little knowledge of Excel worksheet/workbook protection can un-hide everything you've put into it. Even if they don't have that knowledge, everyone knows how to use Google to search for how to do so.

Rule #1 with Excel: Don't use it for anything that you need to hide, especially if it's being shared. Any type of hidden formula, sheet, code, named range, etc. can be easily un-hidden. I can't count the number of times I've cracked workbooks from co-workers, other companies, universities, etc. thinking they can hide information.

If you can, use a web page that requires a secure log in/password that applies specific client rates/discounts based on the login ID. Obviously this is more complex than sharing an Excel document, but how embarrassing would it be (or worse, how much business could you lose) if clients found out information about other clients that were getting better deals?

Tnx Paul. Maybe what will happen is that instead of attempting not to show formulas, each client will get a unique sheet that is fully open.
