Locking of Cells

Hello Experts!

Good day!

Can someone please help me find a solution with Google Sheets?

I want to create a spreadsheet wherein if I enter a value in cell A1 the cell will automatically lock for further editing (once a value is entered) and that only the document owner can correct it if needed.

Does this require macros? If so, can someone please help me out?
