Hello, I have a google sheets query. Although I think the solution will work for both excel and google sheets. Really desperate for some help
Attached is a sheet where in, COPY OF FROZEN PRINTING tab column I I'm trying to achieve something which appears to be simple but I'm a bit of a noob and can't figure it out.
For example in I3 it used to take the number of F3 & H3 to look into the matrix/index table in BOX SIZES tab, to return a box size. We now have a third type of item (COUNT 2P), G3 which is about 1.5x the size of COUNT 1P items and i need to take it into account now as boxes used will be larger.
What i tried to do is make a third MATCH syntax/clause which would use G3 to look up the same range as F3 and bring back the result (but G3 would be x1.5 a number used in another formula).
It was G3,'Box Sizes'!$B$2:$AG$2
Problem is, I3 only returns the same value it would if there was nothing in G3.
I'm expecting it to return as L as 12 COUNT 1P would return 12.
I'm currently unsuccessfully using this:I even attempted an array but i couldnt get it to workPlease Login or Register to view this content.
please help
thank you
