Google Sheets Conditional Formatting based on another cell value

Hello all,

Please see the image attached. I want to conditionally format the cells within the range shown when the value entered in the cell matches the value of another cell - 'INPUT SHEET'!H2 (Which contains 4.01 stored as a number).

Google sheets does not like this. Removing the equals sign does not help.

Any ideas?

You don't need a custom format for that, you should be able to use Valiue is equal to

Actually, to use a value from another sheet you need to use INDIRECT.

=INDIRECT("'INPUT SHEET'!$H$2")
