Wink Google Sheets: Calculating breaks on the rota

    Hey all,

I need some help calculating staff breaks, taking into consideration the following rules:

    · If you work between 6 to 8 hours, this entitles you to a 30 minute unpaid break

    · if you work over 8 hours, but less than 10 hours, this entitles you to a 45 minute unpaid break

    · if you work over 10 hours, this entitles you to a 60 minute or two 30 minute unpaid breaks.

Ideally i would like break hour values to be returned in the cells AL 13:25, could someone help me out with the formula please?

I have attached the Rota, hopefully it will give a better understanding of what i'm talking about

    Welcome to the forum.

Re: Google Sheets: Calculating breaks on the rota

Someone may be in a better position to help if some expected results were manually placed in AL13:AL23.
Also, unless the math behind the results is completely obvious, please include some explanation as to how the manual results were calculated.
