Two figures in financial model should match, but don't

We have built a very detailed RE Development financial model and in our returns section, we can seem to the sum of the different variable by asset type to equal the total of the parts of the same variable. It is driving us mad! We're off by 0.40 and 0.70. We have used the ROUND function to see if that would allow us to get the value to equal each other. But no luck. ANY HELP, PLEASE.
We are using INDEX(MATCH ...) to get the values based on the terminal date.

The model is too big to load here so I need some direction on how to get you the example.

Re: We are off and cont figure out why..................................HELP!

This title does not describe your problem so I updated it for you.

How big is your file? If you zip it, you can attach a zip file up to 9.7MB.

I tried and it said the file was too large.

You could also try any file sharing service that you might have access to, such as free versions of Google Drive/Google Docs, Microsoft OneDrive, Dropbox, and others. Unfortunately there is not enough information in your description for us to help. You might also try making a copy that reduces it to the essential data and formulas from your file that would demonstrate the problem in a small file, and attach that.

How big is your file, anyway?

You have to have an account on that site to access the file.

You can attach an 8.7MB zip file here.

An image attachment has limited value (an exception might be a mock-up of a chart you are trying to figure out how to generate). Just attach the Excel file. It's easier than taking a screenshot first and then attaching that. A file is worth a thousand words.

Having your file allows us to see and experiment with your data, layout, formulas, code, and possibly attach a file with a completed solution. If you are looking for formulas to produce a desired result, it helps if you create a mock-up of what you want the result to look like. Otherwise we would have to build something from scratch, trying to guess what you want it to look like.

The paper clip icon does not work for attachments. To attach a file:

    1. Under the text box where you type your reply click the Go Advanced button.
    2. On the next screen scroll down and under the Attachments section click the Manage Attachments link, which will show a pop-up window.
    3. Click the Choose File button to select a file to attached.
    4. Click the Upload button to upload the file.
    5. Then click the Close This Window button. Your file is now attached to your post.

I don't see a file attached to any of the posts in this thread.
