Struggling with IF and ISBLANK formula

Hey there I'm struggling with an IF ISBLANK formula. Basically is cell A2 is blank i want B2 to be blank, if A2 has a value, I'd like it to display >= 12 days if 12 or over, or < 12 days if less than 12 days.

This is the formula I've tried to build, but it doesn't work.
=IF(ISBLANK(A2), "", if(A2>=12,">= 12 days","< 12 days"))


Can anyone help?

In what way doesn't it work?

Even when A2 is blank, it's still displaying >= 12 days in B2

Don't know if it's the same for GSheets but ISBLANK does not take "blank" cells into account containing a null string (""). COUNTBLANK does ( that is for XL of course)

My Gsheet is working fine with that formula. You may change the format to Automatic
