Converting my VBA to Apps Script

Good morning everyone! Our company is switching from excel to exclusively google everything. Unfortunately, that means a simple copying over of templates, macros and scripts will no longer apply the way I originally learned it. Does anyone have any time to assist with converting the example script to google apps script? Also, a great resource on writing scripts that simply pull another excel sheet and edits it? Nothing more at this time. Thank you for all your help!
