I have been looking all over for an answer to this issue, but I never seem to find a clear answer. It seems that it must work based on what I have read, but I am missing something. Half my sales team is using Apple iOS products but love the pivot tables I have set up but we cannot get them to work in the iOS version of Excel from Office 365. Even versions that I know are fully updated.
I have an Office 365 Excel Workbook (Version 16.0.14). I have a data tab that has a table that is not linked to anything outside of the workbook. I have confirmed this by looking at the Existing Connections. Everything is in the workbook. I have created a simple pivot table off of that data looking at the sales of customers with one filter for months. I am doing this simple just to figure out what is going on. No matter what I do I get the message "This PivotTable connects to an external data source that's not supported in this version of Excel.". Although, I see people out there that claim it should work.
Any incite is appreciated. Thank you.
