    Display the version of a document according to the status & Increment [Google Sheets]

    Hello everyone,

    I'm new to Google Sheets, and I'd like my document version to automatically refresh when the document status is "Draft".

    If the document status is Draft then the version will be N/A. Otherwise, the user will manually enter the version.

    Also, I would like the reference of the documents to be generated automatically from the "FO" prefixes and if the document belongs to a category, then the next number is the code of the category to which it belongs and then it is the increment.

    FO-11: does not move
    Example: FO-11-01 / FO-11-02...

    Thank you in advance for your help,

    Have a nice day,

    You need to make your file public.

    Hello,

    Also, is it possible to select cell into the match function ?

    For example,

    And also, if I'm changing +10 to 0, how to show P01 ? Because in this case the result is P1

    Thank you for your help

    IFERROR function is used, to avoid errors in case where the cell in Colmn A is blank.

    Related with your last question;

    If cells J2:J4 are containg the values IT, Business and Issue respectively then you can use the formula as;
