Google Sheets: Transfer data from one Sheet to another

Hello,

I need some help, i tried multiple options but can not figure this out.

I got a sheet where i have some products, all of them have a number in front 1/2/3/4/5 that is distinct. and another tab where i write the sales of each of this products. I would like to get a formula so that if i put in for example product 3, it will automatically copy some of its features, for example the size / price.

More clear.

sheet 1.


Nr. Size Weight etc

1 20 45 ...
2 30 35 ...
3 55 10 ...

sheet 2.

when i input 1 , i need a formula that will search where product 1 is, and automatically put in the wight, so that i do not have to search for it each time and input it manually.

I hope there is a way to do this.

It sounds like you need a VLookup() formula to do what you want. See: https://sheetsformarketers.com/googl...mulas/vlookup/ for explanation and examples.
If that doesn't help then keep asking or attach your sample workbook.
