Google sheets-Hiding api key

Is it possible to have a sheet with data and another sheet with info from that first sheet without sharing some formula?

I have an api key that i can not share with others, its personal from a company. If i use importrange only to get data from that sheet, can other users get into that sheet where i have my apikey? or do they only have access to the info i want to share?

Others will need to access to the other sheet in order to the IMPORTRANGE function to work as expected. So, your sensitive data may be exposed to others.

What I would suggest is; publishing the "tab" on the web and use the IMPORTHTML function where URL of the published "tab" is used. The published page will be automatically refreshed every 15 minutes.
