Google Sheets Formula help to extract a string value

Please refer to the sheet called "reference platform/placement"

This sheet essentially pulls the info that's from platform/placement (the data here is pulled from Supermetrics, so it's not to be touched)
I'd like a formula in Column B and Column C of "reference platform/placement" to output a certain term if it meets requirements. I have an example of my desired output in B & C in columns L and M.

For Column B, i'd like it to extract the word that is before the first "|" symbol in Column C. For example, if Column C says, "instagram|instagram_stories|mobile_app", i'd like Column B to say "Instagram"

For Column C, (placement), i'd like it to just spit out "in-feed" if the string of text contains "feed" OR "feeds" i'd like the value to return "in feed". similarly if the string of text contains "instagram_stories" i'd like it to spit out "Instagram stories"

Appreciate any help i can get. also, if it doesn't make sense to have a formula in Column B/C i'm also open to having it in another column.
