    Google Sheets: Standarddeviation

    i got a if formula for standard deviation but i got always an error

    =ArrayFormula((STABWN(Berechnungen!C9:C10865;WENN(Berechnungen!A9:A10865">="&DATUM(G4;F4;E4);Berechnungen!A9:A10865"<="&DATUM(G5;F5;E5)))))

    so thats the formula above. so its standarddeviation and then the fields with all standarddeviation results from c9 to c10865; next is if function(wenn) that says if the date fields in A9 until A10865 is bigger or equal then the date field that i can enter in the fields G4, F4 and E4 and then the date field again which should be smaller then that what i enter in that field.

    Hi there.

    A picture is worth 1,000 words. An Excel sheet is worth 1,000 non-editable pictures.

    Please read the yellow banner about sample worksheets, at the top of the screen. Act on its guidelines and post a SMALL sample sheet complete with an explanation and some expected results.

    Your WENN formula syntax is wrong - it's more like COUNTIF syntax - and I'm not really clear on what the criteria are meant to be. Is it meant to restrict the data to any dates between three distinct time periods - i.e. the dates must fall between E4 and E5, or between F4 and F5, or between G4 and G5?

    Re: Google Sheets: Standarddeviation

    in the table with the name "Berechnungen" are in the A column all dates say from 1980 to 2022. in the C column are the corresponding returns to the dates of the column A.
    I have again created fields where I now want to filter out the date from column A. These date fields are on G4,F4 and E4 (from period) and G5,F5 and E5 (to period) in the table named "Datumseingabe". There you can enter for example the date from 01.03 2000 to 02.03.2021. Based on this period on G4,F4 and E4 (from period) and G5,F5 and E5 (to period), it should then calculate the standard deviation.

    Attach the workbook, as requested earlier.

    I don't know the german equivalents, but I'd use FILTER here:

    =STDEVA(filter(Berechnungen!C10:C;Berechnungen!A10:A>=DATE(H4;G4;F4);Berechnungen!A10:A<=DATE(H5;G5;F5)))

    for example.
