thank you for providing the formulas, this has allowed to find the root of the issue.
do you remember where i first said that the dates need to be checked?
well, it seems that advice was ignored and nothing was done about it. heres why....
column AJ refers to columns A and B:
so if there is a #VALUE error will carry through from them.
column A refers to column W
column B refers to column X:
and column W also refers to column X:
so this means the formula in column X is the "top level" of the #VALUE error.
as you mentioned the formulas have not been touched, we can start by looking at the data used by them.
i saw on the "Auto-update: Holidays" that the last two entries are not dates, but text that does not follow the same formatting as the previous data

so, i have overwritten the data on the "Auto-update: Holidays" sheet with the values of dates, then after i corrected the last two entries to make them dates, i tested and successfully booked myself 5 days of Personal Leave. (please ensure my salary is deposited directly to my bank )
so the problem has been caused by poor date formatting.
please fix those last two dates from the source file: "1PprqrB0YBT5bjyQ9Qd3zb27jtOmnpNPUtAMZM4g83ME" on the "Holidays!A:B" tab/sheet
then delete all the data in the "Auto-update: Holidays" sheet, and put this formula back into cell A1:
