Problem with SUM values over 1000 in Data Studio

I am having a trouble in Google Data Studio, My data source has a field with some of values over 1000 and it's format cell is Number with (Use 1000 separator (,)). Now in Google Data Studio, in data source I set field as Number, when I am creating Scoreboard to Sum all the values in that field but guess what any values over 1000 are being skipped, even after choosing currency from number in Data Studio field, it's not calculating correctly.

What will be the reason and how to counter it?

Found a Solution at Stackover;

I just need to create another field with following formula in Data Source on Google Data Studio:

And also setting original field type with "Text", not "Number".
