why rankformula from apiUrl not working?

Rank formula from api url not working

In column C:E i have 3 different odds i want to rank
in C5:E5 i wrote direct to cell and rank working there
in C9:E9 i did =C5, =D5, =E5, here rankformula also working
C12:E12 the odds comes from api url because the odds change often and i want to have correct rank every time it change, formula is not working here
here in cell i use =JSON!U2 (where my odds is in api url)

sorry i cant share the spreadsheet because of my api key that is secret for others
Indata is not correct is what error i get
i tried clean the format of cell, i tried also text, number and automatic format in the cell
