Question Conditional formatting + input a value

    Hi guys,
    Col D)
I'm trying to get a field that calculates if the "Owing" (Col B) has been "Paid" (Col C), and then populate a value (YES/NO) into the "Paid in Full" field (Col D).

I've provided a sample sheet, including a manually formatted table, to give a flavour of what I'm trying to achieve.

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing

    Can anyone help with this?

    Thanks,

    Z

I've updated your file with another example with the solution. You already had CF rules in there that are nearly right, just needed a tweak.

Or you could make it dynamic by adding this formula to cell D2 as seen in new sheet.

My interpretation of this is that rather than just checking that the "Owing" (Col B) value EQUALS the "Paid" (Col C) value, this one actually calculates, is that right?

I love your creativity here - would do me a lot of good to understand it also so that I can use it and learn from it

Phrased another way, can you guys suggest a formula that will simply check if the "Owing" (Col B) is equal to or less than £0.00 and then print a "YES" value in the "Paid in full?" (Col D) field?

This formula in D2 should give you what you are looking for.
