Excel for Mac: Need help converting Windows split to txt macro

Hi All - just to preface everything, I'm a total vb hack - as in cut/copy/paste and try to make things work. The script below worked on my windows machine, but won't work on my Mac. I get a path/access error. Could someone please help me?

if at first you don't succeed try doing it the way your wife told you to

Thank you JP, but I don't think that's the issue as I have tried all maner of slashes and : in my folder path and none of them work.

If I choose to debug the error it spits me out on this line:
Open MYFILE & "C2NXT_STD.txt" For Output As #FileNum

I know this is referencing the folder path though, so perhaps I'm not commenting properly for the space in the path? Or could there actually be a permissions issue trying to reach that folder?
