Date Series

I need to format a column if possible using date in series.
My problem is that the dates are on Thursdays & Saturdays I have tried putting in the date for Thursday i.e 5/01/2012 (Au dates) and Saturday 7/01/2012 when I run the series I get dates that are only 2days apart, the next date I require should be 12/01/2012.

My question can I use series for this or do I need a formula?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: Date Series

manually enter the 1st date, then below this, copied down, use...
=IF(WEEKDAY(A1,2)=4,A1+2,A1+5)
(this works for US dates, it should work for AU dates too. if not, the basic concept is there for you, play with it)
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
